Many businesses are planning on making the move to a VoIP phone system. But there are a few variables that you need to look into before you make the move. At Blue Ocean, we customize our solutions to give our customers the best phone system for the best possible price.

The main considerations that we take into account are the size of the business and if the there are more than one location. Generally, there are three levels of service that we provide: On-Premise, Hosted, or Blended.

On-Premise VoIP

The On-Premise solution is usually the best solution for a business with one location. Especially for larger organizations, the On-Premise VoIP architecture allows you a great deal of control over the security features of the system.

With an On-Premise configuration, your business purchases the equipment up front and the costs are amortized over time.

Hosted VoIP

Small businesses with fewer than 10 employees generally choose to install a Hosted VoIP system.

Hosted VoIP relies exclusively on the Cloud to manage all incoming and outgoing phone calls. Thus, it uses a large amount of bandwidth, making this solution difficult to implement for larger companies. But Hosted VoIP is great for a business with a number of remote workers or a few locations with only one or two phone lines at each site.

Blended VoIP

Blended VoIP is a relatively new level of service that we’ve been installing, and the feedback we are getting has been extremely positive.

The Blended solution requires less infrastructure on-site and leverages cloud hosting to provide a complete VoIP solution for larger businesses that previously would have had to purchase all of the equipment necessary for an on-premise setup.

Now, there are no capacity or scalability issues. Multi-location businesses are able to set up all of their locations on the same network. And the turnaround time to implement the system is very quick.

Most importantly, the Blended VoIP package can save your business a great deal of money, potentially cutting your phone bill in half.
